Ruben Xaus - Motor Cycle Magazine

Xaus hails JAI remedy

Spanish WSBK front runner (and Valencia victor) Ruben Xaus has spent his share of time on the tarmac. At Phillip Island’s SBK round, Xaus confessed to his former head mechanic Mick Hams that he was losing sleep due to pain from his most recent accident.

Hams is now the team manager for Queensland-based BodiHealth Racing, which is owned by BodiHealth Pty Ltd, who market the BodiHealth TENS System and the JAI Energy Enhancer device in Australia.

The JAI device is already being used by at least 30 riders on the Australian and International scene who have sustained painful injuries. At Hams suggestion, Xaus tried a JAI and said it gave him some immediate pain relief. He now wears it constantly and believes it keeps him calmer and feeling rejuvenated. “I wear the JAI regularly because it helps me physically and mentally.  It helps with my pain from injuries and keeps me calm and rejuvenated, which allows me to focus on my racing.”

The JAI was invented by Dr. Keith Wendell, Co-founder of EPRT Technologies, Inc.  Keith is a well known classic bike collector and recently extended his interests to Supersport, sponsoring Gareth Jones and Chris Seaton.

“The device is a portable version of the BodiHealth device that has been cleared to market for pain in the U.S. by the Federal Food and Drug Administration”, Dr. Wendell said. “Basically it is a small clip-on unit that delivers ultra-low energy compatible with the natural electrical currents in the body, correcting any imbalance that is present.
