Patient 1: 37 Year Old Male involved in a mountain bike accident. He sustained multiple comminuted fractures of mid shaft Tibia and Fibular.

Results:
13 Months After the Accident:
Patient 2 Mr SK of Adelaide, sustained a comminuted fracture of his talus. Open Reduction Internal Fixation with screws. 3 weeks following operation still excruciating pain and debility. He was told by the orthopaedic surgeon that he would require at least three months on painkillers and crutches before he could even begin to walk normally again.

Results:
Patient 3 60 year old female fractured left fifth toe 27 October 2004. She had not recovered as expected. Walking had become increasingly difficult as she had severe pain with weight bearing requiring crutches for 6 months. CT scan April 2005 – possible navicular stress fracture, osteopaenia, some soft tissue atrophy.

EPRT Technologies is currently conducting A Double Blind, Randomised Placebo Controlled Pilot Study utilizing their Electro Pressure Regeneration Therapy (EPRT) Devices for the Treatment of Acute Ankle Sprain Injuries. All results will be published as soon as study is completed.
